General Terms

> Copyright

- As a creator, I retain all copyrights over my work, including the right to post any commissioned / purchased works to my social medias and Carrd for sales, promotions, and examples. If you would like to keep your commissioned work private, please discuss that with me beforehand.- By default, every work you purchase from me is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. If you would like to use my work commercially and/or for profit, please discuss that with me beforehand.- I reserve the right to decline/refuse any commission/purchase for any reason, no explanation required.- You may NOT repost my work without crediting me, nor claim my work as your own under ANY circumstance.Acceptable credit includes:
○ Tagging me on the social media you posted my work to.
○ Linking my Carrd or my BlueSky profile in the same description/post as my work.
○ Verbally confirming me, "RowenDoesthings", as the creator of the work if you use it in a video.- You may NOT use my works for Non-Fungible Tokens ("NFTs") or for any Artificial Learning Technologies under ANY circumstance.- You may NOT alter, modify, trace, copy, or heavily reference my works without my permission under ANY circumstance. If you would like me to make changes to a finished piece, please be aware that depending on the complexity of the alteration, I may or may not require a fee to do so.

> Payment

- All prices listed are in USD. The only payment platforms I accept at this time are PayPal, CashApp, and Ko-fi.- Please make sure you are financially stable before commissioning / purchasing my work. For security reasons, I require a 50% non-refundable down payment for custom commissions, with the other half to be paid once the commission is finished. Obviously, we are all human and life can be unpredictable, so if an emergency arises I will work with you to the best of my ability.
However, if the last half of the payment has not been paid over a prolonged period of time with no/subpar communication, I reserve the right to recycle the work created as I see fit, as well as automatically go through with an LBB¹.- Payment plans for commissions/purchases >$100 are available but MUST be discussed beforehand. Emergency payment plans are also available for normal custom commissions, but must be discussed as soon as possible.- Any attempts of bank or platform charge-back will be considered bad faith from the buyer and will result in an automatic LBB¹, and I will have full rights to recycle the work created as I see fit.

> Deadlines

- Turnaround time varies greatly depending on what you commission me for, but due to me now having a full-time job working 6 days a week, I might be a bit slower than I would like. However, if a month has passed with no significant progress made, I will give you the option for a full refund.- You are more than welcome to ask for updates! I like to be completely transparent with my clients and have no issues showing you WIPs.- As a general rule, I do not offer rush orders. Rushing can create subpar, low-quality works, and I hold myself to the highest standards to provide high-quality, meaningful pieces. If you need a custom commission by a certain date, please discuss it with me beforehand.

"Loss": Automatic loss of any and every right to the created work.
"Blacklist": You will be put on my blacklist, a permanent ban from purchasing my goods and services.
"Beware": I have the right to warn other creators about harmful and toxic buyers.

Artwork Specific Terms

> Pre-made Designs ("Adoptables")

- When purchasing a character design from me, you receive full rights for PERSONAL USAGE of the said design unless commercial usage is agreed upon before purchase.This includes:
○ Making and commissioning any goods from other creators. (i.e. artwork, fursuits, physical items, etc.)
○ Using the design as your "-sona".
○ Applying any changes to the design. (NOT the artwork you receive!)
○ Trading and gifting the design.- To resell a design, you must either:
1. Wait six (6) months from the time of receival, with the same price you paid for it.
OR
2. Acquire three (3) colored artworks, no profit limitations.- You may NOT credit yourself as the sole creator of the design. In the case that recognizable changes were made to the design, please credit me as a co-creator.- You may NOT use the design for commercial practices, such as creating merchandise with them unless previously discussed.- If a design is bought through auction, you have one (1) day to submit payment. If payment is not submitted, the last person to bid before you will have the opportunity to receive it, up to a total of 3 times before being put back out to auction.- If the design is auto-bought through an auction, you may request design changes free-of-charge. If it is bought through a lower bid, you may still request changes, but depending on the complexity of the change I may or may not require a fee.

> Custom Designs

ALL "PRE-MADE" TERMS APPLY- In the designing process, you may NOT design a copyrighted character. Parodies are fine.

Written Work Specific Terms

> References and Examples

- If you would like to send me a video as a reference/example, please be aware that I am only able to write ~1000 words for every minute the video is long. i.e., if the video is two (2) minutes long, I might only be able to write a ~2000 word piece.- DO NOT send me pictures and/or videos of physical, IRL ("In Real Life") gore and/or porn as a reference/example. This will result in an automatic LBB¹. Fictional gore/porn references/examples are permitted, such as comics, animation, digital art, etc.- You may NOT commission me for an unaltered/non-parody copyrighted media.
The ONLY acceptable way to commission a written piece for copyrighted media is by commissioning a speculatory script, AKA "fanfiction".
